My Bald Boys

Yesterday Nate decided to shave his head and Michael needed a haircut, so while he was at it he shaved Michaels head too. All Michael's blond hair was in a pile on our floor. And this morning when I went to get him out of his crib I was taken for surprise because I had forgotten about his shaved head. It is taking a while for me to get used to, but I think they are both still so handsome!

I was in the front room when Nate left for a minute, and he came back out like this. I was laughing so hard and I was definately shocked. We decided to give Michael the same do.

Now they are both "baldies".

Fun with Friends

We had some friends over for dinner last night and after dinner the kids were all playing outside, I went out to check on them and this is what I saw. . .

They had used Michael's plastic vegetables to plant a garden. I thought it was pretty clever and cute! They are cute kids and we enjoyed having them over!

Ludlow Family Reunion

Saturday was the Ludlow family reunion and it was so much fun. My Aunt Michelle brought a cotton candy machine (which everyone loved) and I was the only one who knew how to use it (thanks to my rodeo days and the summer I made cotton candy exclusively in the trailer).
Michael loved to eat it, but especially loved trying to make his own!

Michael also loved playing on the playground with his dad and playing football with his cousins! Madison was pretty content to just hang out. (She is such a doll!)

It was such a fun day! We love being with family!

Fun with Grandpa

This picture is just too cute so I have to show it! When we were in Ogden last my dad took Michael for a little ride on the 4-Wheeler. How much fun!

Madison's Buddy

This is Madison's buddy, Cole (my cousin's son). They are three weeks a part in age. Aren't they so cute hanging out together? Check out his long blond hair! They are definately a pair of cuties!

A Day At The Pool

We went to the pool today and Michael had so much fun! He has no fear (which makes me have plenty) and he took several spills under water. He could play in the water all day if we would let him. He will be shivering and shaking with cold and yet cry if you take him out of the water. It looks like swimming lessons won't be too far down the road for us.

Madison's Bath

Isn't this the cutest little sad face that you have ever seen? She actually usually likes baths, but as you can tell she was particularly sad after this one.

Nate Update

Nate raced in the ULCER on Saturday. It is a 111 mile bicycle race. It started at Thanksgiving Point and went all the way around Utah Lake and back. It actually passed right by our house too. The kids and I watched him ride past our house and we went to Thanksgiving Point to watch him finish. He started at 7:30 and finished at 2:54. He did great, but has been having typical aches and pains after such a long ride. We are all really proud of him. Michael loved watching the cyclists pass us and cheered for them all. It was a fun day!

Michael Update

We bought Guitar Hero II this week for our XBOX 360 and Michael loves to "Rock Out". (Watch out Austin or his skills might pass your own.) He also got a brand new piano that he loves to play. I think we have a budding musician on our hands!

Madison Update

Madison just started smiling in response to smiles this week and when she smiles it isn't just a smile it is a grin. She is the cutest little girl and lots of fun. She is growing so fast and I can't believe she is over a month old. She is looking more and more like her older brother and her dad!
